When A and B are mixed
ms A (16 – 12) = ms B (19 – 16) ; 4s A = 3s B .... (i)
when B and C are mixed ms B ;
(23–19)= ms C (28 – 23)
4s B = 5s C …….. (ii) By (i) and (ii)
16s A = 15s C When A and C are mixed
ms A ( θ –12) = ms C (28– θ )
⇒ s A ( θ –12) =
s A (28 – θ )
15 θ – 180 = 448 – 16 θ
⇒ ∴ 31 θ = 628 ⇒ θ = 20.25° C
